Red Cedar Automotive is owned and operated by Andy Lamb. Andy and his family live here in Menomonie. Andy’s wife, Jessica, is a Middle School teacher at Menomonie Middle School. Andy was born and raised on a small dairy farm on the East side of Spring Valley where he graduated in 1992. After a short walk around UWEC for a few weeks, Andy started his time in the car business as a sales person. In 1997, he moved on to become a GM of a local Ford dealership. In 2004, Lamb became elected to the Wisconsin State Legislature. After serving one term, Andy did not seek a second term and purchased what would become River Valley Ford in Baldwin which he operated until selling in 2017. During those years, Lamb would have ownership stake in Bloomer Ford, Phillips Ford and Red Cedar Automotive. After many years, of employing hundreds of people, Andy is very content managing only himself and serving Western Wisconsin with their automotive needs. You would be extremely hard pressed to find anyone that has sold more cars in their lifetime than Lamb. Andy does not believe in big city high pressure selling but rather making a friend and building long lasting relationships. Andy is very proud to now be selling vehicles to his customers grandchildren! Outside of the car business, the Lamb family owns and operates a registered 80 cow Hereford farm. Andy officiates football, basketball, softball and baseball all over Western Wisconsin from the youth level all the way up to Varsity.
